Class of '88 (84-87) - Even though I didn't finish my last year at Zwei, I will always hold a special place in my heart for the Zweibrucken HS falculty and friends. To this day, I still keep in touch with just a few which have become more like brothers I never had (Burt & Bright Karnitis & Chad Rietfeld). Now, that I have one child as a Sophmore and the other approaching Freshmen, I often speak to them about the days my sisters and I had at Zwei. Some days were good and some were bad but mostly were days where each one of us were always trying to find a way to be different from others and striving to stand out from the rest just to be seen or heard in our own special way. Looking back now, I see that as a whole we are unique and even today there are not many that can say "I went to a DODs school about 10 clicks from the French border". Most of the people here in Tampa, Fl have never left the state so thats pretty difficult for them to comprehend let alone imagine.

The Vegas Reunion sounds great. I'm living in Portland, Oregon these days. My parents still live in Germany (Heidelberg area). My brother, Jonathan, works at the ed. center at a multi-national peace observers base in Egypt (close to the Israeli border). I don't have any kids, but I'm getting married later this month (Sept 23). I visit Germany regularly and am still able to visit some "zwei" teachers who now work at Ramstein. It would be fantastic to see lots of friends in Vegas!

I had a lot of fun at Zwei (c/o 90).  Then I went to a few colleges before finally earning a degree in theatre.  I was an actor in my 20s until it stopped being fun.  I retired (ha-ha) and now practice herbalism and massage therapy for women.  And I just had a kid.  And I'm still kind of crazy.  And loud.

I'm still doing stuff with photography! I get PAID now! My company works for all of the major television networks! Chances are, you've seen our stuff on TV. I just STARTED riding BMX bikes again. NEVER too old to get "radical!" I still love 80's type heavy metal. Basically, I'm still a kid at heart! I moved to Arizona 10 years ago, and plan on staying.
