Hello all, Seems like yesterday that I was in Zwei High. Those were some fun times (class of 86)! Having lived in Zweibrucken for 17+ yrs, it was home. Hopefully I can visit with my husband and twins in the near future and show them all the fun places I had the chance to enjoy. Top things I remember with Zwei High? Everyone seemed to know everyone, my dad conveniently worked in the Supply Office (he's a cool dad!), Nukala had good and bad hair days, the greasy pizza in the lunchroom, bowling center lunch/social hour and my most influential teacher, Dale Reid (sp?). Hi everyone! Sorry I missed the reunion in Las Vegas a few weeks ago. Thanks to Torre / Imani Breaker for sending me the pictures of it! It sounds like it was a lot of fun! I was on the tennis team in '87 and then in my senior year moved back to USA. I pal'd around with Rick Spear, Oliver Van Perry, Kim Pounds, Stephanie Troutman, David Holmes, Rob Harsha, and others. What ever happend to all the teachers when Zweibrucken closed? (I learned that Mr Nukula moved to NC) but what about Rick Kendall (math) and others? (I heard that Dr Pierce passed away in '88 and was sorry to hear that, he had the best stories of 'taking Zweibrucken' during WWII and could easily be sidetracked during class to talk about it) Anyway, I'm the proud father of 2 beautiful kids. A 2yr old daughter and a 1yr old son. They keep me on our toes! I'd love to hear from everyone, take care! |

| Hi, everyone. I have hesitated to write as a lot has changed with me. I saw the "Good Excuse" section and still thought I had one...and then I decided to just try this and see what happens. I went to Zwei High from 83-87 and graduated from there. My dad was stationed at Eglin AFB in Florida and unfortunately I had to tag along. From there I married in '90 and moved to Colorado. I am now divorced ('03) and happily single. I was working for the Fort Collins Police Department as an Emergency Services Dispatcher (911) and was able to land a job as a Resource Specialist. Basically, I go around the country training 911 dispatchers now. What I would like help with is filling in my past. In 1993 I lost quite of bit of my memory due to an illness. I do not remember most of things that happened prior to that. I have been able to remember a few people after going through yearbooks and getting a lot of emails from people to help me remember. If you have anything you can share with me, I would appreciate it. This is a scary thing to ask as I don't even know what kind of person I was back then. I thought for a while maybe I would be better off not knowing...but as I get older, I realize these things are important to me. Hugs to all, Vicky | |||

| One of life’s mysteries is how we hold the friendships and times we had in a simpler time so dear. When the main concern’s of the day is who’s seeing who, when’s the next game, carrying the portable 45rpm player and records to the next building, plugging in to an outlet and hanging out, etc. Did I mention, I’m from the class of “73”? The efforts of the few, who put together these reunions, cannot be dismissed lightly. For those efforts we all benefit, so here is my thanks to all involved. Once the registration is set, I am sure there will be a flurry of activity with everyone signing up that have already intended on attending. My personnel intent is to stay for a week, so I will be there early with my wife of going on 33 years. As 2008 nears, and as many of us wait in anxious anticipation, I will try and stay in touch and offer any services that I may be of assistance. I have contacted other classmates from 1974, 1974, 1972 and another from 1972 that have not been to a reunion and will try and convince them to attend. Hi to Chris Wiseman, Trasa Cobern, Mary Thomas, Rocky Boyd ( I got 3 whitetails last year – Hope you did as well) and everyone else that attended the 2005 – Denver to Remember and also the 2006 San Antonio Reunions. | |||

| What a wonderful collection of memories and people I see here! I went to ZAHS 82-86, and spent three more years finding excuses not to leave Europe. Names...names...Sandoval, Kern, Breaker, Zauner, White, and more. I hope you are all well, and I have warm sentimental thoughts of all of those I knew back then, even those I fought with at the time! I'm married, three kids (6, 4 and 14 months, as of Sept '06) and living in West Texas. I've been a Registered Nurse since 1992, and have been something of a professional college student. I suspect Vegas in July would be enough to blast me from my usual spot on the beach in North Carolina for the weekend just so I can see so many of you again. Mrs. Reeder and Tom and Tony and their families came to the beach this summer (with seven kids in tow!) and we had a great time. I'll be sure to pass this along to her--I'm sure she'd love to be there, too. I have to say looking at those old photos made me laugh and cry at the same time. | It was great to see the pictures! Can anyone else submit pictures? It brought back some good memories. I was in Munchweiler from '81-'86. I went to Pirmasens school and left Zwei. Hey! Guess what? Here in Williamsburg, VA, they have an exchange program and guess where the teachers can go? Yep! You've guessed it!!! Zweibrucken. There's a group of teachers going the first of the year.
